FAQ

Answers to common questions about my wedding photography services, creative process, and what to expect when working with me.

I'm the perfect photographer for you if...

My services are ideal for couples who prefer a relaxed, unobtrusive presence when it comes to photography. I excel in subtly melding into the background, ensuring I capture the essence of your day without disrupting the natural flow of events. I aim to make the photography experience stress-free and enjoyable, with minimal posed photos, so you can simply be yourselves while I work to preserve your memories.

What is your photography style?

I focus on capturing candid, genuine moments with a cinematic and artistic approach. Expect natural interactions and minimal posing for an authentic feel.

How long do posed photos take?

I like to have at least 30 minutes for posed photos of the couple alone, and 15-30mins for group portraits (most of this time is spent wrangling). I aim to keep things efficient and enjoyable.

Do you recommend a second photographer?

For weddings with over 100 guests or weddings with analog service, a second photographer is highly recommended to capture all the details and moments. Available at $150/hour if not included in your package.

Do you offer film photography?

Yes! For an additional $2,000, I offer analog photography using 35mm and 120mm film cameras, bringing a timeless, artistic touch to your day.

What is your image delivery time?

You’ll receive a password-protected online gallery with high-resolution images within 30-60 days dependent on the season and current work load. You’ll also receive a sneak peek of 3-5 images within the week of your wedding.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! I am based in New England but book all over. Travel is quoted on a case-by-case basis depending on location and logistics.

How do we book you?

A signed contract and a deposit are required to secure your date. Let’s start with a consultation to see if we’re a good fit!

what comes next?

Once we have confirmed our working together, you will receive a short questionnaire from me. I try to require as little from my clients as possible because I know how overwhelming planning a wedding is and how many moving parts you are already juggling.

I’ll ask to be in touch with your wedding planner and/or other points of contact to minimize your stress and streamline communication leading up to and during the event. Once your wedding timeline is finalized, I will make a shot list/schedule based on the flow of the day. If you prefer, I can provide a basic outline to consider while finalizing your timeline.

Beyond these steps, I let my clients lead. I am always available through email or text for questions that arise along the way and you can expect a response within 48 hours.
